I want to introduce you to Regen Cosmetic Ultra Cover BB Cream and Ultra Toning CC Cream. If you haven't heard about Regen, I suggest you to read Review: Regen 2 Step Synergy Effect Mask first! :)
The Ultra Toning CC Cream is also called Shining CC Cream and the Ultra Cover BB Cream is called Concealer BB Cream. Both of them have high SPF!! The BB Cream has SPF 46 PA++ and the CC Cream has SPF 50 PA+++!!! Most BB Cream/CC Cream that I have tried only have SPF 30 or below, so this is an ultimate win for both of these products :)




How to use:
I recommend not to apply too much, get a small amount of BB/CC Cream at the back of your hand (a single pump is enough for your entire face!) and apply five dots to your forehead, nose, cheeks and chin, then blend the BB/CC Cream with your clean fingers, brush or makeup sponge!

The Ultra Toning CC Cream claims to give a natural no makeup looking effect with whitening, wrinkle improvement and sunscreen in one package.





Use this combination for a dewy finish and great coverage for your skin! :)
Apply the Ultra Toning CC Cream as a base all over your face then apply Ultra Cover BB Cream as a foundation on top of the CC Cream. Or you could simply mix both of the BB & CC Cream with 2:1 ratio.

What it claims:

• Temporarily protects and helps relieve chapped or cracked lips
• Helps protect lips from the drying effects of wind and cold weather
• Formulated with soothing emollients Squalane, Lanolin and Sweet Almond Oil as well as Vitamins A and E

It has no scent and no color (clear), but since it's an old school lip balm (petrolatum based), it makes your lips look oil-slicked, however it's not sticky at all. It doesn't moisturize my lips all day long, so I have to reapply every couple of hours, which is really frustrating! I don't use this to moisturize my lips at night anymore because I always wake up with dry lips :(

After using this product for couple of weeks, all I can say about this lip balm is that it is a so-so product. I mean yes it is a good lip balm, but certainly not the best on the market. I would prefer a $2 drugstore colored lip balm to this hyped lip balm.

Overall, I think Kiehl's Lip Balm #1 is a little bit overrated, however I'd love to try out their SPF or scented lip balm. Let me know what you think if you've tried this product :)

Plastic surgery is very common now, and we all know that most of the best plastic surgeons are in South Korea. CNN has named Korea as one of the most popular 'hot destinations' for medical tourism in Asia, there are more than 7.5 million visitors come to Korea with more than 80,000 of those visitors coming expressly for the purpose of having a medical procedure done; such procedures ranging from cyberknife surgery to plastic surgery and more. I mean what not to believe, most of the hospitals in Korea belong to the private sector and are staffed by doctors many of whom have international qualifications, the hospitals are equipped with the latest technology and medical equipments as well.

I personally have known Regen for quite a while now. It all started when I read a medical tour of Qiu Ting (QiuQiu), a famous blogger from Singapore, she did a nose job and fat-grafting in Korea with Regen Medical Group last year, you can look it up if you want, she wrote every detail from the consultation 'till the result. Besides QiuQiu, there are lots of famous Korean celebrities who have had great experience with Regen.



Anyhoo, Regen also creates cosmetics and I got a chance to try them out! :) I've tried their face masks called 2 Step Synergy Effect Mask. They have 5 variants of masks: Moisturizing, Whitening, Wrinkle, Pore, and Nutrition. You could buy it per sheet for KRW 5,000 or you could also buy it in 5-in-1 pack.

I have tried so many mask sheets in my life, since mask sheets is my favorite kind of masks, it is practical, easy to use and really hygienic because it's disposable. But I must say that this 2 Step Synergy Effect Mask is the most interesting mask that I've ever used!! It has two steps, you will get two separate masks, the first one is for your face from forehead to cheeks and the second one is to define the V-line. I've never tried a mask like this one before but I think it's great to fix facial contour because it lifts up the skin.



How to use:

1. Take out the upper sheet which is cut and made according to the golden facial ratio, and apply it closely to the face starting from the eyes
2. The upper sheet contains much essence. So apply the remaining essence to the lower part of the face before applying the bottom sheet. By doing so, one make the best out of the mask package
3. Take out the bottom sheet which has ear holders. Hold both ear holders to put the flat part upward, and then adhere it to the lower part of the lips. Slowly pull the holders outward before hanging then on the ears
4. When wearing the bottom sheet, pull both ear holders at the same time and hang them on the ears. Sweep and lift the jaw line while doing so. One will be able to manage a facial V-line with no pain.
5. Take a rest for 20 minutes after applying the upper and bottom sheet. After removal of the sheets, tap on the remaining essence for full absorption

Moisturizing
This is the perfect mask for dry skin, because it helps to keep your skin hydrated and moisturizes skin really well! It's also great for winter when skin suffers from harsh cold climate.



Whitening
This mask gives a quite noticeable instant whitening effect after each use, it could brighten up your skin tone if used constantly. It could minimize acne scars, skin pigmentation/discoloration.


Wrinkle
It has wrinkle care to give skin elasticity and define face line. This mask helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Recommended for adults in their 30s or older, for a firmer & more elastic skin.



Pore
This mask has sebum care and pore care to reduce acne. It doesn't irritate my skin or make my skin dry at all. Recommended for acne prone skin.



Nutrition (NEW!)
This mask has nutrition care to smooth out skin. Treat yourself with this mask for healthier and softer skin!



The 2 Step Synergy Effect Mask has a calming effect on my skin, the scent is sweet but not too strong, make me enjoy this mask even more! They have 5 different types of masks, so you could choose based on your skin problem. My favorite one is the Whitening because it brightens up my skin after use :) Aaaand, if you wear the mask constantly (1-2 times every week), you could have slimmer jawline as well.

First of all, I'm not a really big fan of the packaging, it comes in small nozzle plastic bottle, I prefer foundation that comes with a pump bottle. The texture of the product is really liquid-y, it feels really light on the skin and easy to apply with fingers, brush or sponge, but it also has light coverage. Even it has no SPF in it, but I think this is perfect as everyday-foundation, since you don't have to set it with powder because it has matte finish. But if you have scars, pigmentation, dark spots to cover, you might need concealer, because this foundation is really sheer, it should be described as a BB cream, not a foundation.



However, even though this foundation is oil-free, it doesn't have oil control, my skin will look oily for couple of hours after I put on this foundation, even I set it off with powder. I have no problem with the texture, coverage and shades, the color is great for my complexion.

I don't recommend this foundation for oily/combination skin, or if you need medium-high coverage foundation. I'm not sure if I'm going to purchase this product after I run out, because I have other light coverage BB Cream and CC Cream.
