If you've been reading my blog for quite a long time, then you must be familiar with Cathy Doll, because I have reviewed Cathy Doll's Whitening Sunscreen, used Waterful Cool Stick Eyeshadow in one of my Korean Makeup Tutorial, and I also mentioned some of their sheet masks on my Instagram for couple of times before. So this time I'm going to review not one, but two of their newest products, namely: AA Matte Powder Cushion Oil Control (SPF 50 PA+++) and Nude Me Liquid Lip Matte (Rose Embroidery). And let's start with the cushion first!
Since I prefer to use cushion to foundation on my daily basis, I was super excited to try this, not to mention it claims to have oil control, SPF 50 PA +++ too! It's a great package for me who has oily skin, and someone who's too lazy to put on separate sunscreen and makeup base.
The coverage on this cushion is DA BOMB! It covers my blemishes and redness easily by one thin layer. It dries out matte so I could simply use this cushion without putting powder on top, talking about time efficiency in the morning, am I right girls?
Because of the oil control, my makeup could stay all day long even in a very hot day. So if you're currently looking for cushion to try out, I'd definitely recommend you to try this out.
Nude Me Liquid Lip Matte (Rose Embroidery)
It feels watery the first time you apply it on your lips, but it dries out matte, literally matte. One swipe is enough to cover whole lip, it's crazy pigmented. After using this for couple of times, I must say that it lives up to its expectation: long lasting. It could stay up to 24 hours, but only if I don't eat and drink. But still, most of my lip matte stays on the lips even after a meal, so all I have to do is a little touch up.
But because it's dead matte, don't expect this lip matte to be moisturizing on the lips. Just apply lots of lip balms after you use this lip matte to prevent chapping. A little tip is to keep waterproof makeup remover in your vanity, because just micellar water can't completely remove this lip matte, oil based makeup removed is highly recommended.
